5 area students sign ‘letter of intent’ through technical training

Five students from Wahpeton High School and one from Wyndmere were recognized Monday for signing their “letters of intent” for a job offer, apprenticeship or advanced technical training through the Southeast Region Career and Technology Center’s Construction Technology Program.

The six students are Jake Beauchamp, Alex Mund, Zackary Steckler and Kyle Tedrow of Wahpeton and Nathan Hetland of Wyndmere.

Southeast Region Career and Technology Center, in cooperation with area schools, allows a student to enroll in classes for educational opportunities that would not be possible by the high school alone.

Southeast Region Career and Technology Center operates at the North Dakota State College of Science, Oakes, Lisbon, Richland 44, Wahpeton and Wyndmere schools over the Greater Southeast Interactive TV System.
