Breckenridge, Wahpeton lift on-street parking bans

The cities of Breckenridge and Wahpeton have each lifted their overnight parking ordinances.

Both cities had an overnight parking ban from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. for snow removal purposes.

The parking ban removal allows people who only have alley parking available to now be able to park overnight. Both cities warn with the spring snow melt and frost coming out of the ground that the alleys are very soft and caution is advised.

Breckenridge residents note that overnight parking in the downtown business district will continue to be prohibited where signs are posted.
